    Best cap I own

    Best sounding dynamic cap I have. They are on every wireless I own (12). Works very well (clarity, vowels, consonants legible) with good singers and can take abuse (yelling) without drastic distortion. Proximity effect is about ideal. They are 2 years old and still sound good A/B'd with brand new caps.

    Best dynamic microphone I have ever bought. You could use it in replace of a high end condensor!

    I own Sm58 beta, AKG D5, Seinheiser 945, and many other dynamics, all those are good microphones, I also own condensor vocal mics such as the AKG C5. This mic does not feedback like all my others at high levels. The microphone is simply amazing and worth every penny and then some. The sound is as articulate as a great condensor mic regardless of what another reviewer stated...this is not a condensor mic but he the qualities without the feedback, I do not think it should of been compared to a condensor...That being said I am beyond meticulous about sound and I have used this to record many instruments next to a condensor recording mic and Everytime I used the M80 for my main mix.     For the price the only mic comes close that I have tried is the Heil pr35.

    Very nice Transparent and uncolored sound.Give it a little extra Gain and it will come alive. The Telefunken m81 is a better choice for vocalist who could use a little more body or a doubling effect like their actual voice recorded twice. But if you have an already heavy or thick vocals get the Telefunken m80.

    Sounds like a Shure Beta58 quality dynamic mic.

    The sales pitch for this mic is that it sounds like a condenser mic. It doesn't. It's a very pretty dynamic mic that sounds as good as a Shure Beta 58 dynamic, but not as good as an SM 87 condenser.
