    HATED IT. HATED IT SO MUCH...

    Ok, musical appreciation is subjective. A friend rates this as one of the greatest albums she has ever heard. So I tried it. All I can say is, I'm glad I bought it cheaply, second-hand. To my primitive ears it is one long self-indulgent tedious dirge. But it is well-recorded, I suppose...

    Stayed with me for years.

    Heard this from my brother in law, and had the cassette in the car. Bought the Vinyl album on Linn records and really played it until my soul was full. Downtown lights & let’s go out tonight being my most liked. As I aged & matured it meant more to me, and remains my go to nostalgia album. I think this is the best album that I have ever encountered next to Quiet City with PUBLIC FACE / PRIVATE FACE. The common denominator being Paul Buchanan vocals on some tracks. Nostalgic indeed.
