Reverend Willy's Mexican Lottery Strings by Dunlop

I fitted these to a Morris guitar (80's Japanese Les Paul copy) which has super grunty humbuckers, the difference was wonderful; no more uncontrollable feedback/distortion. The Tone is sublime. The sustain is nearly as good as claimed. This is guitar playing on a different plane. I like these strings!

  • Very cool strings

I bought a set because I have developed neuropathy in my fingers and wanted something a little easier on my finger tips. They take some getting used to. You have to play more precisely because they bend so easily but I actually they have helped me in that respect. Bending and vibrato are much easier and it is much more difficult to break a string. Loving them!

  • Strings of Billy G and B B King

Gibbons was asked by B B King how thick he went on his strings and BG replied "10 why, what do you use? BBK replied "7s! I can't imagine having to work as hard as you" and BG started using 7s. I have been using "7"s since hearing this from BGs own mouth years ago and still glad I did

  • Light but good

I'm pushing 65 and my hands are not as limber as they used to be. I'm used to playing 10's but it's gotten harder for me to play fluidly,so I'd thought I'd look for lighter gauge strings. This was the first I'd heard of a 7-38 set, made me wonder if I'd be running my fingers over spider webs. Not to mention if they could maintain tone. But I'm satisfied, they exceeded my expectations. If you like easy, quick bends, these would be a good choice. But you have to be careful, it's really easy to over do it.I would recommend at least giving these strings a shot, but I don't think most players would use them as a first and only set.I attached a photo of my guitar with the strings installed, it's an Agile Valkyrie with SH-1 and SH-4 Seymour Duncan Pups

  • Great set of strings.

When you get my age with finger joint problems, these strings are the cat's meow. The low E string and the A string were changed to a 42 & 38. The change made them more compatible for my style of playing. A great product. Gary.
