This bulb never reached the color advertised it would reach. No markings on packaging as to color temp of bulb. No markings found on the bulb upon installation. Had bulb shatter upon removal for inspection of markings per seller. Seller did not provide any further assistance beyond that. Even though I broke the bulb I still do not believe that the correct bulb was sent. Seller went dark through messages and has blocked me from their store. Big F for this seller.

    Great filter for the money.

    Very easy to set up..it's a no brainer. Fairly quiet..only noise is the water running through the rather large diameter tubing. Very large surfa e area on foam media. Only real drawback is the tubing. The design of the tube does not allow trimming, but fit on a normal 75 gallon tank with a tall stand. The tube will instantly kink if twisted; it's very thin. Over all a good value however.

    One year review

    My review is mixed. This worked flawlessly on a 40 gal bowfront for a large cichlid for just over a year. one day the pump just died. I was however able to retrofit a submersible pump I had laying around and get it up again within an hour. Try doing that with a fluval. No way. So, you get the idea, it’s serviceable. Somewhat. That’s important in this hobby since many times a solution is needed ASAP. Would I buy again? I don’t know. I might try to find another solution. This will get you up and filtering a large volume of water quickly and cheaply. How long will it last? For me, a year on the original pump but it’s back in service now with a generic pump.

    Canister Filter

    I modified the in side cut all the material in half added three bags filed each with carbon, nitrate beads, and GFO No sure about the O-rings I thing they are to thick they seem to get deformed. Good water flow took out my wave system as the output moves the water in my 100 gal tank

    I love this

    This is a great cannister filter. I has really powerful flow and a completely adjustable output nozzle. I have 3 now and I want about 300 of these bad boys! The sponge and pump are easily removed and cleaned. The sponge can be trimmed and addtional media can be used. I trimmed mine and added ceramic rings and bio balls. Cannot beat the price on these!

    Great Bang for Buck

    I have this filter in use with a Marineland 350 Canister on my 75 Gallon Discus tank. While this filter is simple it has been a vast improvement of water quality and cleanliness compared to the 2 HOB I was running with the 350. Im actually thinking about replacing the 350 with another one of these filters.
