Have to admit that I did not achieve the chrome plated appearance that the cap and advertising indicated. I was trying to get some chrome trim plating on a nicely polished alloy item. I was meticulous with the prep and prime, but the final result was a very nice almost reflective polished metal appearance. I'm actually not disappointed. This final result looks great. It is just not quite what I originally intended.

I correctly prepared the lid of one of my laptop and i was in a clean place, and the lid had small fisheye looking defects in it and it didn't look good. I pained a textured piece of plastic and it looked fantastic.

This good quality paint will give you a very shiny metallic finish compared to most of the "silver" spray paints used on models. It is compatible with plastic. My advice would be to work with this paint on some non-critical surfaces in order to develop your technique before applying it to your finished product! The surface of your painted object will be a bit fragile until the paint has dried for about 48 hours or more.

Had issues with it sticking to metal. I thoroughly cleaned and sanded the metal down, but in certain places the paint would repel from the metal causing crazing. I tried again and made sure everything was clean and had the same result.
