I have installed and used the mount with a Samsung galaxy E lite 8" tablet. It works and holds the tablet well. But.... it's a bit of fiddling to install and remove every use as it does not fit my carrying case. It is made pretty well but i have to fold the mount on the receiver down to put it away, and this requires loosening the screw and removing the tablet holding mount as well. The head mounts with a knurled screw that also has a screw driver slot. It comes with tools.

Solid metal construction makes for a nice steady hold on a 7 inch tablet, much better than the flimsy plastic bracket that comes with the Phantom 3 Standard that's only big enough to hold a phone. It seems like this will hold up well under normal use. If you order, be sure to notice the assembly instructions in the product description here on eBay. No instructions come with the product. Very happy with this purchase.

Definitely better, more sturdy then stock, instructions would have been a plus and a quick release would have been a smart move as it doesn't fit in any drone cases/backpacks I've seen when mounted, other then the remove for storage, it's a bang for your buck, especially if your tired of the droopy plastic stock mount.

Fits my phantom 3 perfectly. Securely holds everything from a large ipad to my smaller backup tablet. If you forget your tablet, simply flip it over and use a phone. Much more secure than the flimsy stock holder and made almost entirely out of metal.
