2 pack 110v/1350w water heater, immersion.

This immersion heater is very powerful and heated up 5 gallon buckets of water easily. Average time to heat the water from room temp. (77 degrees F to 170 degrees F) was 13 minutes. The plastic housing attached to the metal element does get hot and bendy, but never shows signs of melt. So far, this wattage has been supported at both my home and my office, though the circuits being used were exclusively for the heaters when I was using them. The metal heating element does rust easily, so I would advise drying it when it is removed from the heated water. Also, I would strongly recommend that the power source be through a GFCI device. Coupling the GFCI with an on/off switch would make this even safer as you would not be handling the plug at the wall socket every time you need to turn the ...

  • Eco Living just got easier

I ordered these to heat my house water on demand vs a water tank It's a smart choice for non running water w a quick heating need .It's actually too hot so a smaller w may be used . Every prepper should have a few of these .Caution,They are hot to handle not to be used in foam or plastic or by kids .I lay mine in a metal pot then submerge the pot in my larger bucket . Great value exceptional price . I'm ordering a few more

  • so far so good

I bought them as heating elements to make craft beer. I haven't used them yet, but tested it. It took one element 14 minutes to bring a gallon of 55f to boiling. Not bad for my purpose. I am still wary of the product because of its simplicity. My concern is the electric shocks so I am very cautious of using these elements.

  • convenient, light weight, fast-heated up

this item is better than all the similar products I have got. it is light weighted but heat up faster. the metal does not burn to brown dark color.

  • Dangerous

It works good. But, be careful. It is after all metal, electricity, and water. After always mistaking me for bar-b-qued chicken, I finally just threw mine away.
