You get what you pay for. high quality knife with a full tang and rosewood handle.It is very light weight which makes it an excellent flexible knife for filleting fish or breaking down meat into steaks.Do not put in dishwasher or soak in water,just wash with sponge and dry it with dish towel.to store it put some food grade mineral oil after it completely dries and this knife will last for years .
