Minimal conducting at times but energetic when needed.
First of all this DVD is one of the very few ever recorded by Carlos Kleiber. Kleiber has his own style of conducting an orchestra, much of it minimal but some of it very energetic. He's enjoyable to watch and the orchestra responds well to his guidance. I liked this disc so much that I was delighted to find a similar DVD for sale and promptly ordered it to witness again Kleiber's control of the musicians.
