    Works well

    It was like someone cut the power lines to my house; a power surge destroyed the power supply in my old dvd/vcr unit; it too was a 427. I am tickled there was a near perfect replacement for the one I had. The remote for the old one works perfectly; didn't have to change a thing so the supplied remote went into storage for a backup if needed. I haven't tried the vcr portion of the deck yet but it handles DVD's well-enough. It is surprisingly clean, given its age
