Great mags!
I was having trouble finding mags to fit my Desert Eagle 10mm 1911 pistol. I was advised to check out these mags on eBay, and I’m glad I did. They hold eight, 10mm rounds, hold back slide on last round fired, and are metal. I fired fifty rounds through these mags and had no problems at all. Fails to lock slide back on empty.
I really want to give this magazine five stars, I really do. I have never had any problems with anything Mec-Gar ever before and it pains me to give this thing three stars. Like any other Mec-Gar magazine, feeding, finish, and fit are fantastic and worthy of being an OEM magazine. The problem is that it sometimes will fail to lock back the slide on my Delta Elite, and the reason is not spring-related. The tab on the follower will actually jump the slide stop and end up on top of it rather than pushing it up. This has happened with down loaded 10mm and full power Underwood stuff. I thought it might be my Delta Elite that's the problem, but it also does it on a buddy's Dan Wesson and another buddy's Kimber Eclipse 10mm. Needless to say, I have relegated this magazine to range use only. I rely on Metalform 10mm magazines with the full-skirted follower for all my serious business needs. I have never had any problem with any of those. It's no wonder Colt's OEM Delta Elite magazines are Metalform.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

Sturdy, reliable
I have fired a full load in each ones six times through a Kimber Camp Guard 10. That's 48 rounds without a hitch. I fired soft-shooting loads as well as SigSauer Elite and Blacked Out Arms full-power ammo without a hitch. I have used Mec-Gar magazines in other guns and they have always been excellent. Two are now part of my carry routine. If I need more, I'll buy more. In the attached pic of the Kimber, the two blue magazines are the Mec-Gars. Note they are dirty after 24 rounds each!

Great aftermarket mags!
Bought the 8rnd 10mm mags for my Ruger SR1911 10mm. Ran 100 rnds through them for a quick test run and they performed flawlessly! Mec-gar makes great magazines period in my opinion.
