    High quality, brand new

    I've used the new battery numerous times now and it has been terrific. I had an old battery that wouldn't get me through my yard without recharging it 1-2 times and now I don't have stop a single time. Ton of time saved for me! I knew I didn't need to pay for a brand new mower altogether so I'm thankful this battery has been getting the job done for me the past couple months now.

    Flawed, but useable.

    This was much cheaper than Amazon or Home Depot. Now, I think I might know why. When I tried to charge it, I couldn’t slide it all the way onto my charger. Fortunately, I had a second charger, which was the same model as the first charger. The battery slid right into position and charged as it should. I suspect that these batteries are “seconds”, in the sense that they have some slight manufacturing defect or out-of-tolerance dimension which disqualifies them from regular sale. Otherwise, why would it fir on one charger, but not on the other? It’s a great price. I would take the chance again.

    Good battery

    I bought a Ryobi 40v trmmer to replace my Ryobi 4-cycle gas trimmer, simply because I was tired of pulling the rope, adjusting the choke, and changing the spark plug. Bottom line, I love it... but you definitely need a back up battery. This one fits the bill. There are some off-brand batteries out there, but I always stick with, and recommend OEM. A rapid charger is also a good idea.

    Ryobi 40V Lithium Battery

    My current Ryobi batteries are getting where they no longer will maintain a charge. After the initial charge, new battery has made my mowing job much easier. Product is as advertised. Glenn

    Working as advertised.

    Had to return a Ryobi 40v battery and replaced with this one. 1st one lost ability to charge after only a couple of weeks. This is still charging after a few times of use. Don't expect problems. Have tried off brand with little success.
