Didn't work well for me
I tried this speaker out and disconnected it afterwards. I went back to the 6x9 speaker I was using before hand. I don't know if it was something I did or not. It just didn't sound as good as the 6x9 I was using. Power seamed quite a bit less also. I can't recommend this because of my experience. Great Lil Speaker!!
These speakers are great mid bass speakers for medium power systems!! if you put them in a well constructed box they even sound better!! than just putting them in a door of a vehicle!! the price is very fair for what you get ,I have been useing pyle speakers/products for years with no problems at all !! need help ask me and ill help you with your car audio and always buy from VMinovations they always have the best prices !! Here is the speaker box i just pulled out of my older truck note the mid bass speakers!!!

Excellent value for the price
You won't win any awards with this subwoofer but for $15 it is awesome. I used it to replace the 5inch subwoofer in my Logitech 2.1 computer speaker set. Cheap and Good!
I bought the 6 inch Pyle subwoofer and I am pretty amazed at what this little sub can do. I paired it with a old school Rockford Fosgate Amp and put it in a bazooka tube. This sub sounds good at low volumes making little bass to nice bass sounds when you turn it up. It can handle well, it shocked me. I didn't want to spend so much money on a sub so i went the cheap route for my cheap car. Best 6.5 Speaker for the price, Sound as good as a kicker,JL for half the price.
I bought a Rockford prime 6.5 3way and a MB quart dc1-216 component set but both are great full range speakers, what was missing the little bass that I had in my factory premium system. Dealership wanted $140 each for the speakers. I understand why they want them now, magnet on my factory speakers were two times the Rockford Fosgate. So I bought the Mb quarts because I had good sound with them in the past. After putting both speakers if I was done very unsatisfied with the sound. I seen a video on the Pyle PLPW6D, so I said let me try am I will not return if they sound bad I will just put them in my old trunk. How surprised I was when I heard them. These speakers work surprisingly well! Installed in front doors of 2011 chevy colorado powered just by the stock head unit. The sound quality is better than the stock speakers, I'm sure hooked up to a small amp would sound even better. The Pyle 6" sub is a great sub for home or car audio. I am pulling 50 watts out of it and it's so loud!!! Recommended!!! It has punchy bass and makes clear and loud sound. I made a custom box to hold it and it sounds good. I'm a very happy customer!!! Check out the pictures!!! Great sound for little money
I purchased this speaker to replace the blown subwoofer speaker in my 05 Jeep's center console. Other speakers were too big and would have needed major modifications to fit. The only needed minor trimming to fit, and after installation the sound is great.
