Porters bashed from Skarloey
Very nice 0-4-2. I have bashed 2 of them into Porters. I didn't modify the mechanisms, just replaced the superstructure. Styrene was used throughout. Tomah models etched builders plates and number disc were also used. Various brass and white metal castings were used. The dummy is unfinished. A HO cable car donated the roof and sides of the dummy. The Skarloey runs nicely right out of the box. The 11" minimum radius is not the true minimum. 8.5" is fine, smaller can cause stalling.
