Product Information

Every "Star Wars" fan wants to be the one to destroy the Death Star, and the 1991 "Star Wars" NES game puts you right in the cockpit of Luke's X-Wing. Like other NES games, it rewards player skill and takes more than a few attempts to make it to the final stage. Luke dies from a single hit, and you only have three lives and two continues for the whole game. You start on Tatooine, where you explore caves and fight off Jawas, before piloting the Millennium Falcon to rescue Princess Leia from the Death Star. Both Han and Leia are playable characters, offering lots of replay value.

    Not bad... not bad at all.

    The game itself is truly excellent with it's smooth controls, nice graphics, faithful soundtrack and storyline to the at least 90% of the first Star Wars episode. If it wasn't for the extreme difficulty (doesn't mean the difficulty is a bad thing but this game could go pretty far sometimes.) I would say it's a decent game and worth it for your NES library. Recommended.
