    Chicory root granules

    I tried it for the first time and I really liked it, although it tastes like 95% coffee. You can tell it's got a little taste in your mouth that tells you it isn't 100% coffee, but it sure tastes like coffee after it goes down. I have it three times a week for help with my borderline diabetes and to keep cholesterol levels under control. There are other benefits to chicory root that also interested me and it's a good all around drink, but the two mentioned benefits are at the top of my list. I usually take it by itself, as you would a glass of tea in the afternoon, not as a person would drink coffee with a donut or a regular meal. Every time I open the bag it came in, I can smell the richness sealed in. For some, it might take a little getting used to, but I've adapted to its taste within ...
