A Classic, Better than Newer
These are, in my opinion, some of the best lightweight binoculars I've owned. The focus wheel is easy to manipulate (unlike almost every other type, like the barely exposed ridged cylinder on newer ones). Seven power is just right - 8x and especially 10x is jittery, at least for me, and they only seem to make 8x any more. The eye cups are soft, deep enough but not so deep that you *have* to invert them when wearing glasses. Eye relief and field of view are excellent; so is clarity. The design is a classic - slips into large pocket. After about 20 years I dropped mine on a hardwood floor and they went out of alignment, but I was able to get a new pair on eBay inexpensively.

The binocujlars are in beautiful, new condition. However, its case reeked of stale tobacco smoke. Fortunately , Ihad the case for a similar item, so a seap was n o problem.
