Not very happy with unit. Sound is great but unit is cumbersome to operate. Remote is very directional and weak. Setting presets is not so easy. Digital display is extremely dim both lit and unlit. Great with one exception, for office use would be perfect.

Compact Audio System
This is perfect for an apartment or where you need to 'be' on the quiet side. Still the sound is good (you're not paying for a Bose system here, mind you). Radio reception isn't the best but it does have an antenna wire for strategic placement (if you know where that is). Can be hung on a wall, as well. Easily moved from place to place. Personally, I really like this compact audio system (if you will). I use JVC headphones with it and the sound is even better. Best compact CD AM/FM Player
I didn't know exactly what to expect when I received this. I didn't expect too much for the price although ratings were great. To my delight, the unit was easy to assemble with good instructions. For it's size it has very good tonality across the hearing spectrum. Bass and treble and mid-range sounds are all GREAT! I would recommend this to anyone looking to fill their room with excellent sound, a solid remote, ease of set-up and outstanding remote. The price is phenomenal for what you receive and the sounds given belie the size of the speakers. you would think that you are listening to a much larger until with great speakers! Nice Compact System
The system was just what I wanted, something compact that I can fit in any window of my home. the sound is good for radio and cd but the one problem I had is the electricity went out while the radio was playing, when I turned the radio back on the clock wont work it acts as volume now :( real bummer im hoping maybe someday it will work again but the radio and cd player is great!Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

Nice little compact unit
If you want a nice small radio and CD player compact enough for a dresser or bookshelf, this one is fine. It won't take too much heavy handling but with reasonable care should last several years. For small speakers the sound is very satisfactory. It won't blow your neighbors out of bed but is fine for a mid-sized room. It is not as portable as a boom box but I have no need to carry it around with me. The sound quality is very good when you measure what you have spent to buy the unit....All things about it were really good it can fir anywhere, we have it in the bedroom on a nightstand.... Attaching the speakers was a bit hard as I was afraid the insert would snap but in the end it all worked out well !!
