A DISAPPOINTMENT
The EDP version has almost no projection and upon dry down the scent is barely noticeable after 2 hours unless close to skin. I sprayed the back of my hand and after 2 hours the scent was no longer detectable after 2 hours. A sophisticated scent!
Smells deep, dark and woodsy. This is a pretty sophisticated fragrance for the accomplished gentleman. Starts atrong with a woody/citrus vibe that reminds me of wet freshly sawed wood mixed with spices. The dry down carries a subtle vanilla and amber note that smooths it out and gives it a creamy vibe. Very seductive and it will draw compliments but the projection is kind of weak and one must get close to smell it. Dolce & Gabbana, the one Perfume is even stronger and better than the Eau De Parfum version of this great fragrance, it has a spicy, lavender, amber fragrance, it also has a a blend of lemon, orange, lavender, sage, cedar, and tobacco. High expectations. Disappointed.
Wanted to love this. Turns out I’m one of those who gets no more than 2 hours out of this and it’s sillage/projection are at best arms length for an hour. Scent is definitely for evening or cool weather. The amber is quite abundant. The tobacco and sweet booziness are at the heart and really make this a cozy and mature fragrance.
