Needs better mounting options...
This bulky battery pack comes with two options, option #1 is to drill it into your car with supplied screws or option #2 is to mount it on with the supplies velcro strips, I didn't want to ruin my car by drilling holes so I went with the option I think most people would go with which is the Velcro option but quickly realized this was not as durable as i hoped it would be, with any little push, accidental hit or jab the Velcro would slide off and knock the unit on the floor board of my car, I tried sticking some double sided industrial tape onto the Velcro and it still came loose... if this unit wasn't as bulky or came with stronger supports it would be a better product and would be worthy of 5 stars but until then I'd stay way or go another route.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

Blackvuew Power Magic Battery Pack works great
GREAT VALUE: Short of the Celllink B battery which costs quite a bit more, this battery pack from Blackvuew answers the mail for me in powering my dashcam specifically for Parking Mode. This costs under $150 vs. about $80 to $100 more for the Cellink B. It is smaller in size also which makes it easier to install under the dash, in the kickplate area, or under the seat. WORKS AS ADVERTISED: Fast charge time of only about 1hr provides for hours of power to the dashcam. Since power comes from the Blackvue and not the car battery, there is no risk of the car battery being drained and leaving one stranded with the car not starting. SIMPLE INSTALLATION AND USE: Just two cords. One cord plugs into an available accessory cigarette lighter socket. The other has the socket for the dashcam to plug into. LED lights provide charge level and charge status. MISCELLANEOUS: I've purchased an AC to DC power adapter so that I can charge it at home in the garage if need be. It is rated at 6 amps since the Blackvue maximum input amp rating is 6.5amps. I've also purchased a cigarette lighter plug that I will power from the fusebox. I will then plug the Blackvue to this socket. Doing this whis will allow me to reclaim the cigarette lighter socket on the dash that the Blackvue is now hogging full time. I can use that socket for charging a mobile device, etc. or not at all to keep the dash nice and tidy. Thumbs up for the Blackvue Power Magic Batter Pack B-112. UPDATED 12/26/2017: The battery lasts about 5-6 hrs. If you need to power your dashcam longer than that, you may want to get the CellLink B where you can get an additional battery so that you could extend the length of time you maintain power to your dashcam when the first battery is exhausted.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New
