    Gasket 101

Thin 'paper' gaskets should never look very grainy. These are of uniform color, texture and grain size. Do not use inferior gaskets, especially when your life depends on the reliability of your equipment. Pay the few dollars extra. These gaskets are capable of being disassembled several times without looking over your shoulder seeing a 40hp blaze.

  • Top critical review

Buyer beware! Carburetor gasket / fuel pump kit!

Buyer beware! This kid is made of somewhat cheap material, the kind that will tear us apart when you disassemble the carburetor for Springtime maintenance! And it's doesn't doesn't even include the most important part, the pump diaphragm!

  • Up and running again

All of the items in the rebuild kit are of very good quality and are a good value. I only had a slight problem with the 2 locating holes on one of the key diaphragm gaskets. The holes were slightly too close together and I had to carefully cut them egg shaped to set in place. Also I wish that for a bit more money the "pumper diaphragm" would have been included.

  • Almost good.

Would give a 5 but this doesn't come with all the gaskets for the fuel pump diaphragm and the carb flange gasket didn't have the bolt holes in exactly the right spot. Everything else in kit was good.
