Not good enough for large scale
I have it in a USA trains S4 engine. It is not loud enough even with an 8 ohm speaker. There is a little sound in the big engine, but just not enough to hear after I put the shell on. Also I am told that these decoders cannot handle the voltage necessary to run a large scale engine. Hopefully I could return it
