Fits and works as intended
Of the dozens of examples of this type of product offered on E bay this example had the features and price point I wanted, bare aluminum, knurled handle and unmarked dipstick so i could mark it for my application I have no use for added extras such as anodized coating, who ever heard of threads galling when in a oil bath. The only fault I find is the Round "O" ring seal but problem solved just used the flat seal from the original plastic dipstick. This dipstick is well machined and a perfect for my I 4500 generator and cheap insurance for any engine that doesn't pressure lubrication and no oil filterVerified purchase: YesCondition: New

I bought this for my brand new WEN 56400M generator. Most of these generators, including my model, do not have an oil filter. That means any loose metallic parts are floating around in the oil when it's running. I ran my generator for about 15 minutes testing it out. I was surprised to see just how much metal dust was captured by the magnet after just 15 minutes of run time. You'd be crazy not to buy one of these for your generator!
