One screw to access the dash area, unplug the OEM switch (which the harsh south Texas sun had melted), and plugged the replacement in. 5 minute job overall. Oh, and the OEM replacement from Yamaha would have been almost $50 US.. This replacement was over 30% less and works great! And shipping cost and lead time were completely acceptable. Will do business again.
