I sealed the mailer when packaging up your item; it was not "exposed the entire way" as you messaged to me. I'm guessing there was an issue during transit that caused it to split open, and while I wish that hadn't happened, I cannot control items once they are in USPS possession. I'm glad your item arrived to you as described.
