    sander with great features

    was impressed with noise level of the sander, quite a bit less than the previous makita sander i owned. plenty of power for the wood working that i do. really like the trigger switch more than the on off button if sander slips out of hand it stops!! how many times has previous sander slipped out of hand and went cross the bench. dust collection wasn't bad with attached bag, i'm sure would be better with vacuum hose attached. price,quality am very well satisfied!! would sure recommend this sander. vr k whitson.

    Not a great deal. It should have been discounted further. Because inconvenient VOLTAGE.

    Great tool, but!!! This item was sold as a US standard 115 volts. It is not . it is the European 230 volts. Luckily I have a 230v receptacle in my garage. If I were to need it somewhere else, it would not work. When I asked about the voltage, I was told , it needed a new plug, that's all.

    Best corded random orbit sander I've ever used

    I have used a Porter Cable Random orbit sander for 20 years in my wood shop. The bearings finally gave out. Thought I'd try the Makita, as most of my cordless tools are Makita. WOW, just WOW. This sander blows the doors off my old porter cable. Its more powerful, easier to hold, and does a far better jog collecting the dust. Wish I'd bought sooner.

    Just because something say refurbished doesn't mean your buying junk, it was sent back to an authorized service center and made like new again! No vibration, adjustable handle, adjustable speed, comfortable trigger, nice easy startup. I'm really happy!

    Great product.

    Already used it to sand down drywall and it's smooth operation made it easy to get a smooth finish ready to paint. It attached directly to my shop vac and dust in the house was diminished to practically nothing. Totally awesome sander and I highly recommend it.
