Influenced by low-budget horror films of the 1950s (and beyond), and by the shooting action of Robotron: 2084, Zombies Ate My Neighbors has one or two players (simultaneous) running around suburbia, using a squirt gun to blast mummies, pod plants, and other creepy creatures. Cheerleaders, tourists, and other innocents should be rescued, and footballs, bazookas, weed-eaters, and other weapons can be picked up for added firepower. Additional items include keys for opening doors and Monster Potion that turns your character into a purple beast capable of bashing through walls. Filled with tongue-in-cheek humor, fast-paced gameplay, tons of levels, and cartoonish graphics and sound effects, Zombies Ate My Neighbors breathes new life into your Super NES.

    Wonderful game!

    I first played this game back in the 1990's and my parents used to let me rent it from the local video store. I bought this game to re-live my childhood favorites with my two kids. Both our boys absolutely love this game like I do and it is a great game for boys 8 years old or older in my opinion. I don't believe this game title has any adult content whatsoever and I have played it all the way through. The current pricing on these SNES game titles is pretty bad because adults seem to think they are vintage. I assure you by definition that they are nothing close to vintage because that would mean the SNES game system was 80-100 years old...Anyhow, I paid about $45 for just the game cartridge so it is kind of an investment but we plan to play it for many years to come. I do recommend this ...

    Such an addictive game! Controls are crisp and gameplay is nice, but the levels can get a little repetitive after a while. Still a great play, especially with two players.

    Super Nintendo at its finest.

    This seriously has to be the best two player game on super nintendo. 55 insane levels with monsters of all sorts. Zombies, werewolves, vampires, giant babies, & much more! Hours of excitement! The only thing I don't like about the game is that there's no way to save it. You get passwords which enable you to come back to the level you were on, however, you lose any extra lives or weapons you may have had. So basically, when you play, be sure you're in it for the long haul. You can't beat the harder levels without the weapons you collect along the way! If you don't have or never play it, make this the next game you buy for your super nintendo! You will not be disappointed.
