    This product does does not need a hub supposedly. While it is true that you can connect it to HomeKit without a hub is practically unusable

    It disconnects constantly unless you have it set up with a home pod or one of the last generations Apple TV. Therefore the statement of no hub needed is false. there is also no connection to this decora devices if you are not on the same WiFi network without a hub which prevents you from doing have of the automatización you might desire. If you have a WiFi extender and you phone and the switch connect to a different source there goes your connection to the switch as well. I advise to only get this if you already own a HomePod. I bought several that switches that I could not return so I ended up buying a HomePod; but again the no needing a hub statement is terribly insincere since it no only needs one but also the most expensive kind.

    Great switches

    In response to Belmont-9, I have 15 of these switches installed in my house and don't have a HomePod. I have an AppleTV,(non-4k, just 4th generation) and everything works great. You only need the appletv or HomePod to use the switches outside of your local network.

    Great Product!

    The Leviton dimmer is a must have for anyone looking to integrate Apple's HomeKit into their home. Its relatively simple to wire into your existing wiring and setup with Apple's HomeKit to begin automating ones home. The product is very well built (unlike a number of knock off - android switches). One can feel confident that this switch will work reliably either manually or via HomeKit.
