    Big Bass Small Unit

    The size of the unit is a little on the smaller side however the sound and the dual bass output gives you all the sound and bass of a much larger unit. No need to get a more expensive unit unless you just want to have more speakers.

    Good Enough

    It has good sound when I play music using the PC and Bluetooth modes; however, the sound from TV/CD mode does not work well at all. I still have to learn exactly how to use it. The remote has a lot of fuctions to it. It's a good-enough used receiver.

    RIGHT RECEIVER FOR THE JOB

    I bought this receiver for the guest bedroom A/V system and more specifically so that I could control basic functions with the Firestick remote. The previous receiver I was using was good (HK), but I had to use three remotes. Now I just use one. Yay! I do have Onkyo receivers on 3 other systems and swear by the brand.

    Loudness vS. Room size.

    You shall be aware of the room size where you are planning to install this particular amplifier. It shall be powerful enough for a good size living room, but for a full size basement I would prefer something more powerful. Otherwise, it is great!

    Onkyo Receiver

    The receiver is very user friendly. This replaces a Denon receiver that is also of exceptional quality, but more complex for someone who is not an audiophile. This receiver was damaged in transit, but appeared to be packed sufficiently. I cannot get the receiver to recognize my internet connection. I'm still investigating this, as this issue may be a result of damage the unit sustained in shipping.
