Good unit and it doesn't cost a lot either.
I thought it was 17" wide. it just fits for 16" on center holes. So it might be 17" wide for 16" holes. Kind of misleading. It is easy to assemble, what assembly there is, and it was easy to mount. The only thing I didn't like was the tilt function uses bolts rather than a lever to tighten the position. 2 of these bolts stripped out and don't clamp. (there are four) I think the model that offered the lever was much more money- I don't remember. There were 1) one bolt did not have the Phillips cross molded deep enough for a screwdriver. (I hacksawed a slot for a regular screwdriver) 2) missing one washer and had an extra washer of the size I did not need. 3) the stripped out screws for the tilt function. So quality control on the fasteners was poor but they do include what your going to need no matter what TV you have. This is a bigger issue in the US than anyplace else since most of us don't have a surplus of metric screws.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

Finally Up after 3 trips to Home Depot... check for compatibility before buying!
The Screws for the wall didn't fit (too long) but that was due to my older building walls, BUT then the screws for the actual TV did not fit either (too short!). Overall, I ended up paying as much as I would have with a brand name mount from Best buy or harbor frieght. I had to go to the hardware store 3 times !!Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

Not for large TV
I have a 42 inch Samsung TV. The bolts that came with the mount weren't the right size and I'm unable to find the right length in order to mount the TV. The mount doesn't seem strong enough to support the TV. Maybe a 32 inch TV it would. Not for a 55 inch
I bought this for a 55 inch tv abd it isnit doing good. I have a light tv and its too much for this bracket. It droops down and will not hold tv straight. Dont buy for anything bigger than 40 inches. It would b good for a 32inch light tvVerified purchase: YesCondition: New

Good value Seems rugged...
works great on a 32" viso LED, installed in the camper on a custom designed Plywood Mounting Panel... It will extend out and turn toward dine area for viewing or back against the wall for bed area viewing.... Handles a light TV very well... Cant say how it will work out on a larger TV....
