    Core i7-4790K, the prime of the Haswells.

    This is the prime flagship CPU for the 4th generation Intel Core (code named Haswell). The Core i7 means the top of what is in the hands of the pro/consumer. Despite I bought this in 2016, 4th generations are still capable of handling today's demanding computing needs just as the current 6th generation (code named Skylake) and the newly released 7th generation (code named Kaby Lake). Pros: - Easy to install! Just put into the socket, put the thermal grease on, mount a cooling system of your choice. Turn on your computer and after a BIOS check, it's ready to go. - Balance - Overall, any 4th generation Core i7 is probably suited for those who want power but are short on the price.
