    The grips are really nice for the price, however they can’t be used with the stock grip screws provided with my Taurus 1911. This is because the diameter of the screw holes is too small to accept the screws so they fit within the recess. Re drilling or new screws will be needed.

    Beautiful grips for any pistol !

    The picture on the ad doesn't do the quality and beauty of these grips justice. When I saw them first hand I was amazed ! They are absolutely gorgeous! Worth the price. They made a fabulous gift for my sweetheart. He was so surprised & happy on how they looked on his gun.

    Not happy

    These are well made, but I do not like the black laminations in between rose wood. It has a pronounced striped appearance. I wanted what appeared on eBay, not what I received. Too much black!

    Can't be beat for value

    Wanted to dress up the Tisas Duty Model a little, and couldn't ask for more. Perfect fit, great grain, great color, and makes the 1911 look nice.

    Very Nice Cosmetically

    These grips are extremely attractive, very well made and fit well also. The only minor shortcoming I find is that they present such a smooth and polished surface, that getting and keeping a high and tight grip on my pistol is very difficult and challenging. I'm looking to possible find some attractive self-stick tape with a rough surface to apply for better GRIP for finger area. None of this is an issue if you use them on pistols primarily for display.

    I'm thinking about buying more for a spare.

    These grips make my gun look old school. I bought it used with some black grips that blended with the finish so well you couldn't see them. These wood grips give a nice contrast and a classic G.I. Joe look. Great value for the price!!
