Don't wast you money on this!
The cartridge only last a few days so it will cost like 60 bucks a week to run this system. This is a fluval rip off if I've ever seen one. I used it for two days and threw it away and baught a real system. My 2.5 pound system will last 4 to 6 months and only cost 10 bucks to refill. It cost about 120 to build but is well worth it in the long run. DO NOT WAST YOUR MONEY ON THIS!

Operates as it should
The phrase " awesome sauce " is juvenile and downright stupid. Aside from that, this Fluval unit is just right for small tanks. Mine is set up on a 5 gallon heavily planted tank. At 1/2 DPS the 45g cartridge lasts about a Month. Plants look wonderful. Do shop around as the price can vary.
