    Decent scanner for the price.

    Decent flatbed scanner for the price. I liked the PDF button that converts any scanned " picture " of a document into a PDF. Also I downloaded ( from HP ) the updated drivers for Windows 10, and they worked well. I created a shortcut to the scanner on my Win 10 desktop. So I can double click the Icon to open the scanner software....and then click on the one " scan " button and it begins the scan. Pretty simple

    Great scans...but

    Scans great. The only problem is that the inner lid has some kind of mechanism that shows up on scans. The solution is to cover it with a sheet of legal-size white paper.

    scanning

    This product does a good job of scanning slides,except when they are quite dark. I usually scan them by themselves and then can solve the problem.. It is also nice to not to have to put a mask on the flatbed to scan slides. I t also does a good job with photos.
