    2012 Mazda 3 Left Front Door Acutuator/lock

    The interior door lock cable on my '12 Mazda 3 failed and the stand alone cable cannot be ordered OEM. This actuator is the solution. The outer and inner door panels must be removed and a little extra care must be used to align the window in its track but this repair is doable for the average DIY'er. See youtube for instructional videos. The outer door panel is held in place with clips and they will break (six of the 8 or 10 of mine did). Order OEM replacements as the 3rd party replacement clips did not fit. Tools needed: pry bar, screw driver, and 10mm socket.
