    Having used an Orico USB caddy for a SATA HDD 3.5" 1TB drive for several years, I had no doubts about buying another Orico caddy for my 1Tb 2.5* SATA HDD backup drive. I wondered if the latter was the genuine item, as it seemed so cheap, but I had no need to worry on that account, as I popped the HDD in, plugged in to my USB port and it worked perfectly. As seen in the picture, it's quite a sleek looking cover and would easily fit into a pocket. What's not to like.

    Samsung Magician software using Windows 11 identifies this enclosure as a USB 3.2 device, which is better than the 3.0 in the item listing. Magician also sees the USB connected SSD and reads the firmware and SSD serial number, not all USB cases enable this. Connected using UASP protocol. Great value and better than I was expecting. Thanks.

    Excellent HDD enclosure - super price, and arrived really quickly. Came with the stick-on foam pad to prevent the HDD from moving about inside, and is tool-free and allows swapping to a new HDD almost as quickly as changing CDs. Thanks!
