Quality product.
I bought these for taking calls (sometimes in the car) and for listening to music, among other misc use. I haven't used these for gaming so I can't comment on that functionality. Pros: They work well in a "noisy" environment. Even while driving my old truck, the active sound cancelling and generally good seal of the ear cups locks out most of the ambient noise. The sound cancelling is most effective against lower pitch noises (such as road noise, or a motor running). The microphone works well too, with others reporting that I sound clear and background noise is minimal (even while driving) whereas with my former budget headset, they had difficulty hearing me clearly over the road noise. Although they are on the heavier side, they are quite comfortable even when worn for an extended period of time. The sound quality is quite good, music sounds very nice without the thick bass or shrill highs many of the inexpensive headsets have. These are without question the best sounding headphones I've owned. The battery also lasts a long time. Cons: They don't go terribly loud. While they do provide adequate SPL, if you really want to crank it up and blow your ears out, these probably aren't for you. This isn't really an issue for me but I did notice they don't go as loud as other headphones. (This may be partially due to the fact that good quality sound is not perceived as being as loud as poor quality sound, think portable radio cranked to 11) Occasionally during a long phone call they will shut off for no reason, requiring me to turn them back on. I'm not sure why but it's a little annoying. Summary: I'm happy with my choice to purchase these, and I'd recommend them. I am giving it 4 stars due to the fact the Quantum software has issues. The sound is almost 0 when trying to connect via the dongle and then connecting to another device via Bluetooth.
