    TINY COST; HUGE UTILITY

    This is a BASIC, USABLE PORT EXTENDER for any device having USB-C. I'm migrating from an older (high end) PC that won't support Windows 11. My new laptop is a good quality CHROMEBOOK which is a bit short of ports and connectivity options out of the box. The ORICO 6in1 is remarkably compact and lightweight for it's capabilities . . . don't expect to be impressed by its physical grandeur. It does provide access to a wire network for higher throughput than wifi; connects to a desktop monitor for ease of use and expanded screen territory; quadruples the number of standard USB ports that can connect to all the existing peripherals that pre-date USB-C. Well worth the tiny investment for the additional utility.

    Insufficient data transfer speeds for VR.

    While it may be USB3.0, do not expect high data transfer speeds, even with the drivers installed. I have an Oculus rift and bought this product for better tracking performance which I did not get. Plugging either sensor or my HMD into any slots in this bay cause me to suffer much worse performance than the USB slots in my motherboard - if I plug in more than one it gets so overloaded the application will fail to even recognize I have a VR setup. Things like mice, keyboard, other peripherals function fine in all 5 slots, but it seems VR tracking data is too demanding for this hardware.

    check your connectors before buying this

    The card itself is good but you are stuck with no connectors to power it, it comes with a male Molex to SATA 15 pin female cable, if you have a Dell like I do you will be stuck and trying to find the right power cable to make it work, there is no information provided on what the other connector ports are for. Waste of time.
