      Draw someone in and let them stay awhile.

      Although The One gets a lot of negative feedback because it doesn't "project" or have good sillage (how long it lingers in the air), there is no denying that this cologne smells wonderful. Now, although I usually cannot smell The One on myself after a while, unless I bring my nose closer to my skin, others will still compliment my smell. The One Sport is more detectible over time when I wear it, and The One Gentleman lingers a bit less. I thought the Eau de Parfum would have more punch than the Eau de Toilette, and I cannot say that it doesn't, but what I do know for sure is that its core notes linger longer, and it smells just as good. I am not trying to leave a wake of smell in the air, to cover up for other smells, but entice someone to come closer. In this regard, The One EDP is ...

      Not long lasting

      I first bought the EDT...wasted 50+ dollars. Didn't last long at all. So I bought the EDP, lasts a little while longer. Don't get me wrong, I love the smell, it just doesn't last very long. Dolce & Gabanna needs to improve on this!

      Masculine and Enticing. Best scent in my collection.

      Beautiful scent, easily my most complimented fragrance (outside of Old Spice LOL). Must spray liberally to have results, 6-10 sprays in distributed spots give a great effect (can last 5-8 hours this way). For close/indoor use I recommend 3-5 sprays. There is a lot of depth to the scent which gives it enticing attraction and the desire to smell more of it. I can easily notice the freshness and deeper sweet tobacco notes which make it complex. Great for casual usage all year round, regardless of what people say about this being a "date" fragrance. Easily suitable to be a signature and unoffensive when worn appropriately.

      Overall great scent, not long lasting even with skin moistener on. It lasts about 3 hours on me and it's gone. No traces even on my clothes. I really expected more from an EDP.
