    This is really a great scanner even though the software is not for everyone, a little learning curve even if your a serious amateur or pro , but worth it, Just dont try to start high res 7200dpi scanning when the scanner arrives , take a day or two to get to know it , the utube tutorials are for AI not SE software but they are almost identical, and they are ok not great but good enough to get you going

      A quality scanner worth the price tag

      This is a GREAT scanner overall - pretty easy to use although I'm still learning as it's got lots of editing features which I'm still playing around with. The colors are sometimes a bit off (too blue) but I think that I will be able to learn how to adjust this with practice. It's the best slide scanner I've tried so far and I'm really happy with the purchase.

      Good scanner bad support

      I like this Opticfilm 8200i scanner. Infrared feature is excellent for color slides, saves a lot of time on editing of scratched/dirty slides. However if you have a question, do not waste time writing E-mails to Plustek. I sent two E-mails to them at different times in 2016, one regarding this scanner and one regarding the older model I have. Both of my requests were ignored so I put 4 stars for zero support.

      Make sure it is clearly stated that it will not run on Windows 10
