Sounds great unplugged, but plugged in it's hard to get loud enough when picking even with my Luna acoustic amp turned all the way up. Fret ends are very sharp and I had to file them down. I noticed this with my Cordoba concert ukulele as well, so maybe it's just the company's M.O. Good overall appearance and finish! Tenor is an easy size to play if you're used to a guitar but still has a sweet uke sound. If four stars were for "good" instead of "better than expected," I would rate it 4. I guess I have high expectations :).

I love the tone of the Tenor Ukulele, I had not played one until I bought this one. I also love the ability to plug it into my amp (for fun) but it has a bright and full sound without any amplification. My mom bought virtually the same one without the electronics and it sounds amazing too!

Nice solid top, cut away probably useful but nice to have, pickup sounds good. Good construction and detail, like the real wood rosette inlays.

The Cordoba 20TM-CE that I purchased is a pleasure to look at, play, it’s sound is clear and beautiful and she stays in tune. Tuners seem good so far. The sides of the neck are super smooth without a single sharp protruding fret and the action is comfortably low without any buzzing. Intonation is good as well. The finish is smooth and construction solid. Compared to other guitars and ukes that I own I’m amazed at the overall quality. Not sure if I just got lucky and received a good one but based on my experience I highly recommend it!

A great value for this kind of money. I like it best with a mellow squeekless wound low g string set. Full and rich sound. Mine came properly "set up" Pickup worked fine, no flaws I could see. I used some Flitz and got a gorgeous low gloss finish that made it look a lot classier.
