I needed a portable cordless vacuum and this one fits the bill. I have used it in the house and on my cars. It does a satisfactory job. Of course it does not have the suction of my corded vacuum, but it works well for small messes, car interiors, hard surfaces, and short pile rugs that I wanted to use it on. It is easy to maneuver on my stairs and compact enough to get into tight spaces that my corded vacuum cannot. The battery lasts long enough for me to complete my tasks in auto mode. If using it in max mode, work fast because it lasts about 10 minutes. I have a couple thicker rugs I needed the extra power to clean where my pets lay. The vacuum comes with a wall bracket that you can mount. The charger plugs into a standard outlet and connects to the wall bracket.
