    Outstanding...

    The NEX 7 has received many quality reviews when it came out and stands the test of time. With the a5100, a6000, and now the a6300 out, you can get a NEX 7 for near $300. The only difference is less focus point and the sensor is 24mb but slight older, but the quality in RAW images is outstanding. I'm very impressed. Many features in the camera as well.

    Perfect travel camera

    The camera was delivered in perfect condition and works great. A friend recommended I get this camera for traveling purposes instead of lugging around my big Nikon DSLR. It's the perfect balance between compact size and advanced features, but still very easy to use. I'll be using this on all my trips. Thanks!

    excellent camera between professional and compact camera

    Brought this used that makes it excellent value for the money. The picture quality is excellent, fast recycle time. The electronic view finder is equal to an optical viewfinder. Brought it for the size, compact enough to carry all day, but has enough features to similar to a full size SLR. The only negative is no touch screen like the lower price NEX-5. Can't compare to others as I have not tried the others in this class.

    Great value for the a6000 predecessor

    The NEX 7 is a great camera with great features, lens options, and vintage lens conversion options. It's got great image quality and is highly portable. The newer 16-50mm lens is lighter and more compact than this 18-55 kit lens, but the older kit lens is better handling. Also, for video, it's great that the NEX 7 has an audio jack, which the newer a6000 does not.

    Compact, feature rich, do-it-all camera.

    I have been out of serious photography for a few years and this camera is my way back in. In the time that I have had it, I am completely amazed at its capabilities. It isn't a full-fledged DSLR, but close, and the short comings are not noteworthy for my prosumer level of use. I think that 90% of pro photogs could use this camera for their work. I have the 18-55mm, Zeiss 24mm and 55-210mm lenses and when Zeiss brings out the other new lenses this year, this camera will be a complete system. The one area where it could use some help is in the area of accessories: there are so few! Overall, I love the compactness, image quality, functionality, and transportability of the NEX-7 and look forward to some extraordinary photos with it.
