the latter two questions above don't really seem to apply to this product. Was wanting to put together a Switch-Yard layout and these keep the lines of rail quite close together to be able to have several storage spurs in quite a small working area {just need to work out individual spur power feeds better than I have them; don't have the digital which I know would solve that issue, but at nearly 80 yrs. old I have a lot of Locomotives that never had digital options for them.}. I would say that if You have older Locos like I do, the single pair power pick-up wheels seem to stop on a few of the Switches if traveling too slow to drive through those dead spots; have to keep operating speed just a little faster than I would sometimes like to run things. Elsewise, these work quite well. Read full review

This is a good product. I think it is a little over priced but nothing else fits the requirements for the layout I am building. Negative side: controls are cumbersome. and the pre-wired cables are too short requiring splicing or ordering expensive extension cables which are hard too find. However, If my layout would require more of these Bachmann EZ track crossovers, I would order more.

I am constructing a model railroad layout with 3 ovals within each other. The tracks need to be connected for realism. This crossover track is perfect. It's DCC friendly and controlled by remote. A perfect asset for my railroad!

Looks realistic, works great, better conductor than the original tracks with the black roadbed. Several months down the road and still runs trains as good as day one!

Works very smooth with no problems with no derailments, even with some plastic wheels that can be a problem. Good product and I will be getting more in the near future.
