I love having my own copy of one of my favorite movies. After all these years, I didn't realize there might still be a perfect copy available. All the characters were so well done, and Robert Duval's character has always been unforgettable for his tough shell but soft interior. And the Foreign Legion flashbacks were so exciting. Just a good movie from start to finish, and totally believable.

This is a great movie, set in the early sixties, that explores childhood neglect, trauma, healing and love in ways most never could imagine. It is funny, engaging, full of suspense, and provides closure at the end. Both actors did an awsom job of keeping you entertained along with them at first not wanting to take care of the nephew but after he was there an they taught him much about hard work and life values he was accepted. The one brother had a hard to believe but true adventure full life along with they were accused of stealing money but in the end it was proven not true. Glad we bought the movie and will I am sure watch many times. Would recommend to any one that like true to life down to earth movies.
