The Doodlebugs add fun to your layout
These Doodlebugs are a lot of fun to run and can handle pretty sharp curves so they can run easily on just about any layout. They also have good sound effects and my two favorites are when the Doodlebug is at idle then engine developes a connecting rod knock which would indicate the engine would need to be overhauled and my second would be the reverberation of the electric horn which gives it an echo effect. The Doodlebugs are also relatively inexpensive to purchase and don't need any rolling stock or passenger cars so you run them alone.
