    tough listening

    This is the birth of any black music that didn't directly praise Jesus. Ray Charles is responsible for Little Richard and Chuck Berry I was waiting for a cd reissue but the market today is only interested in million sellers so I doubt it will happen. iTunes offers only disc three and it's discs one and two you really want. Did I mention it's out of print?

    Good Man, Good Man

    If you like Ray Charles, then you must have this collection. It's completely loaded with gems that would take you an enormous amount of expense and time to track down. I bought it after seeing its high ranking on Rolling Stones' Top 500 list and don't regret any cent spent.
