I am quite the fan of Sergio Martino movies, so since I couldn't rent this on Netflix, I decided to buy it-and for the price, it was worth every penny. What makes this stalking, slashing, mystery, a standout from so many others, is that Martino's direction of camera work, use of cityscapes, castles, and landscapes, along with his flair for extracting so much eroticism, both clever and flagrant, helps to keep you entertained, while you try to figure out whose doing the killings. He also has a nice selection of eccentric or pushing the envelope characters, that keeps the plot flowing. I would go as far to say that this a somewhat more exotic version of "Slumberhouse Massacre," with a better appreciation of female beauty and use of color. The gore quotient is strong, yet laughable at times, because of the look of red paint being splattered on some goopy looking stuff, and the use of motorcycles is another plus. So if you are familiar with Italian Giallos, then check this one out and enjoy the ride.Read full review
