Developed by Traveller's Tales, Disney/Pixar's Buzz Lightyear of Star Command is a third-person action/adventure game set in rendered real-time environments based on the animated television series. The evil emperor Zurg has initiated a heinous plan involving intergalactic terror; his vile cronies aren't far behind. Assuming the role of Buzz, you must thwart the emperor's evil doings and destroy his legions of minions.<br><br>Fortunately, you'll have a little help along the way -- not only will Mira, Booster and X-R accompany Buzz on his do-good crusades, you'll also recruit helpers including various critters known as Little Green Men and Zeb Nebula.<br><br>Disney/Pixar's Buzz Lightyear of Star Command features 14 interactive environments spanning seven worlds with unique scenery, pickups and mindless minions doing the emperor's dirty work. Levels are set throughout various planets including Jo-Ad, Trade World, Karn, Gargantua and Canis Lunis with the final battle taking place on Planet Z. There are also boss characters located within certain environments -- you'll do battle with Torque, XL and Warp Darkmatter.<br><br>Along the way, Buzz will interact with and utilize a variety of pickup items and weapons. Weapons range from simplistic laser beams to destructive lightning guns and homing plasma bolts. Additionally, you'll have some vehicles at your disposal, including jetpacks, hoverboards and jetbikes. Pickup items consist of health packs and defensive shields; you'll need these if you wish to thwart emperor Zurg.<br><br>Will Buzz Lightyear save the world from danger or fall victim to the evil emperor's wrongdoings? The fate of mankind is in your hands!

    PIck it up if you can get it for a good price

    I got this for pretty cheap so I am happy with it overall, but it's a 3 classic nostalgia blinding one to the quality of a game. It's fun, but in small bursts and honestly overall is very short which is why there are some grinding alternate objectives like immediately by the 3rd level. It's something you can get around it if you already know it is coming and you pre-grind some alternate objectives to make sure you're not roadblocked. 3 out of 5 don't pay an upcharge for it

    Buzz Lightyear Of Star Command

    Buzz Lightyear of Star Command for Playststion 2 is a great family game. I bought this for my 5 year old because he loves anything Toy Story related. It is fun and easy to play for all age groups, it has many different levels of play and as a parent I don't have to worry about any foul language or gory fight scenes. The only disappointing thing is that it is only for one player and I would love to join in on the fun with my son. I would definately recommend this game for anyone with younger video game players.

    Bought this game for my 4 year old son and he LoVeS it!

    My 4 year old can play this game with little or no help and loves it. I really like it because I can allow him to play is game without having to worry about foul language and gory effects...Really glad I made this purchase.
