This is an optional extra for the Panasonic-Leica lens 200mm f2.8 and we area already talking about those who put lens performance considerations before price. But nevertheless this is a very expensive “optional extra” for use on one designated lens only. However it is specifically made to work with thos lens and does so very well. I can recommend this quality lens accessory to those who have enough need for the extra reach to make themself pay the necessary entry fee.

I have use to it compare to the actually 400mm, it is not as Sharp as the native lens, but it still give me a very good image with regular lighting condition, but not in low light. I am very satiny with this product. But I think the 1.4 is a better choice for the list of lens, if you have the 100 - 400 also.
